Meet on your arrival either from Mbeya Airport or Tunduma Border, be transfer to check in at Utengule Coffee Lodge for overnight, base on bed and breakfast.
Utengule Coffee Lodge offers guests an oasis of calm on the slopes of the mighty Mbeya range in Southern Tanzania, with spectacular views across the East African Rift Valley. In terraced gardens on an estate famous for its gourmet coffee, ‘The Lodge on the Coffee Estate’ has 16 rooms with en-suite facilities, the most luxurious have open glass frontages and large balconies overlooking the pool and the Rift Valley beyond.

Katavi wildlife camp is very exclusive and located in the best game area so that you can watch the daily movements of game between food and water and witness the dramas unfold before you. The tents, luxurious in size and furnishings, are cunningly set back in amongst the trees that line the floodplain, providing both shade and camouflage in the prime game viewing area of the park, where the wildlife are unaware of your presence.

Katavi Plains National Park was established in 1951 and given National Park status in 1974 by the government. The Park is one of the upcoming tourist attractions in Tanzania as it is an unspoiled wild park with unique attractions. Because of its remote location it receives few visitors and it’s the best for those tourists who love peace. Katavi is excellent for bird-watchers as it has over 400 species. You are also likely to see leopards, elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras and buffalos.
After breakfast, drive to Kigoma town and check in at Kigoma Hilltop Lodge base on bed and breakfast.
Kigoma, situated in the Western Province of Tanzania, is a laidback and attractive little town. The streets are lined up with small stores and street traders. Touring around the fish markets, shops and stall keeps you occupied for the day. It was to Kigoma that the legendary steamer, the MV Liemba, was brought by rail by the Germans during the World War I and assembled there, before being used as a military expedition ship against the British forces. It is also the last place where an emissary was sent to trace the whereabouts of the great scientist, missionary and explorer, Dr Livingstone. The Kigoma Hilltop Hotel has a lot to offer during your leisure time such as bird watching, tennis court, swimming pool, gym, private beach and a variety of water sports activities.
After breakfast, boat transfer from Kigoma Hilltop Lodge to Gombe Stream National Park, check in at Mbali Mbali Gombe base on all inclusive.
As the only property situated in the Gombe Stream National Park, it offers complete privacy by only catering for 14 guests. The lodge is built in the lush shade of ancient trees just off the shores of Lake Tanganyika. This
park was made world famous for the primate studies conducted by pioneer British Researcher Jane Goodall. Chimpanzees are undoubtedly the main attraction, but olive baboons, vervet monkeys and the rich bird life

Chimpanzee trekking in Gombe Stream National Park is an activity that includes walking through the forested park in search for the allocated chimpanzee family. Track and observe wild chimpanzees; crouching low, you can watch them grooming, drinking and playing. The treks last about three hours and include a maximum of one hour with the chimps, during which you can expect to see them from a safe but intimate distance of 8-10 metres. Get up close and personal with the chimpanzees and discover their beauty, intelligence, and social structures. Return to the Camp for dinner and overnight
After breakfast, boat transfer back to Kigoma Hill top Lodge base on bed and breakfast. Option for other activities around Kigoma town.
Hotel will transfer you to the Airport for your flight back to Dar es Salaam or any other town. (Flight not included).
