About Amboseli National Park:
Towered
over by the magnificent bulk of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,896 m), Africa’s highest mountain,
Amboseli is one of Kenya’s oldest, famous and most-visited parks. Endlessly
panoramic, yet comparatively compact, it is dotted with emerald green swamps in
which great herds of elephant wallow; half submerged in the papyrus grasses.
The permanent marshlands also provide a potent draw to hippos and buffaloes,
while offering a haven for the abundant water birds. An International Biosphere
Reserve, the park largely constitutes the usually dried-out lakebed of Lake
Amboseli, which is surrounded by flat grasslands relieved by very few trees. On
the plains are numerous antelopes, spotted hyenas, jackals, warthogs, olive
baboons and vervet monkeys. Lions are rare. Observation Hill, a conical peak,
which is easily climbed, offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
All meals and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp-FB
After breakfast, enjoy the day exploring the Amboseli National Park. Spend the entire day game-driving in the park, which is an International Biosphere Reserve featuring the dried-out lakebed of prehistoric Lake Amboseli, rolling savannah and lush green swamps. The plains offer numerous antelopes, spotted hyenas, jackals, warthogs, olive baboons, vervet monkeys and the chance of spotting a lion, leopard or cheetah.
Observation
Hill, a conical peak, which is easily climbed, offers stunning views of Mount
Kilimanjaro. Lunch and dinner will be taken at the lodge, whose grounds also
offer the opportunity of optional nature walk with bird-spotting (150 species
in the grounds alone). All meals and overnight at Sentrim

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive to
Tsavo East National Park and check-in to Ashnil
Aruba Lodge. The
lodge takes its name from the Aruba
Dam (constructed on the Voi River in 1952), an oasis of limpid brown water that
forms an irresistible attraction to both man and beast in this otherwise dry
dusty Tsavo. After
lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive then return to the lodge for perhaps an
optional evening sundowner (at extra cost). Dinner and
overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge -(full board basis)
Spend all day on safari in the Tsavo East National park. With a full day in the park, both morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Tsavo offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world – vast herds of dust-red elephant, fat pods of hippo, giant crocodile, teeming herds of plains game, a fantasia of bird life and some magical flora.
About Tsavo East National Park
The joint mass of Tsavo East and West National Parks forms one of the largest national parks in the world and covers a massive 4% of Kenya's total land area. Tsavo East, the larger of the two, lies equidistant between Nairobi and Mombasa and is one of the last great wilderness safari landscapes on Earth. A dramatically presented theatre of the wild, this safari destination offers a vast arena of parched scrub and heat-shimmering bush which is washed by the azure waters and emerald-fringed meanderings of the Galana River, guarded by the limitless lava reaches of the Yatta Plateau and patrolled by some of the largest safari elephant herds in the world.
For
those who love birding, Tsavo East's prolific bird life features 500 recorded
species. Commonly seen birds are African skimmer, goshawk, red and yellow
bishop, palm nut vulture and the white-headed buffalo weaver. Around Aruba Dam
there is also a profusion of woodpecker, sunbird, starling and pigeon whilst
along the Galana River both Maasai and Somali ostrich abound along with Kori
bustard, bateleur, carmine bee-eater and an East African speciality, the
vulturine guinea fowl. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the camp
