Your tour Guide/ Driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe, he will brief you on the journey and you will then set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Mityana road, the drive is roughly 6hrs and 30 mins depending on the stop overs. Via Fort Portal and Mpondwe road. Stop over at Mubende for Short calls and snacks for those that want. Continue on Mityana road and Stop in Portal town for lunch at Gardens Hotel for lunch. After Lunch, your Guide will take you through the crater hike through both the Kasenda and Rwetera Crater lakes clusters if time allows. You will later continue to queen Elizabeth National Park Via Mpondwe Road. Arrival and check in at Elephant Plain Game Lodge on Full Board basis
This region hosts a concentration of more than a three-dozen
jewel like, permanent crater lakes. Scattered across a 10km wide longitudinal
band that runs parallel to the western boundary of Kibale national park from
Fort portal south to Kasenda. Geographically, there are three groups of these
crater lakes, The Rwetera cluster in the west comprising of three lakes, The
Rweihamba cluster comprising of about 10 lakes and the Kasenda cluster
comprising of about 20 Lakes.
Early rise at Elephant Plain Game Lodge for Breakfast. Your Guide will brief you about the day’s activities and you will head for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is Uganda second largest park with an open grass land which makes game viewing easier. The Park boasts of over 95 Mammal species, your guide should help you spot for lions, elephants, leopards, antelopes, and many other mammal Species. You will later head to the Mweya peninsula where you can Break for lunch as your Guide prepares the boat for the launch.
Queen Elizabeth is a park of many parts, in the form tourist
sites that technically lie outside its boundaries but are most often visited in
conjunction with it like Kalinzu forest, Lake Katwe, Kyambura wildlife reserve
and Kasenyi fishing Village.
After Lunch, you guide will lead you to the boat on the
Kazinga channel. This channel is 33 kilometers long and 2 to 3 kms wide. On
this two-hour boat ride that runs out of the Mweya Peninsula, you will be able
to see more large Herds of elephants, buffalo and Hippos. You should also be
able to see, crocodiles, monitor lizards and many bird species. After the boat
ride, your guide will take you through a crater drive as you head back to Elephant Plain Game Lodge
on Full Board basis
Early
rise at for breakfast served at 8 am. Set off from Kasese at 9 am heading to
Mbarara via kasese Mbarara road. Stopover in Mbarara for Lunch. Set off from Mbarara
at heading to Kla via Masaka road. Stop over at the equator In Kayabwe for
photos. Arrival in Entebbe/Kampala and end of our service
